Group Senior Content Manager

Job Overview: Project and workflow management of the Group B2C & B2B2C Communications Content Studio Team, and print production management across The Bicester Collection. Working alongside the Content Director and Art Director in the development and implementation of the overall content marketing strategy for The Bicester Collection, ensuring that the brand voice is always represented, working closely with other Global Function Heads, Village Marketing Directors and Content Managers to ensure the successful creation and implementation of Marketing content, resulting in an increase in brand awareness and brand engagement, improved guest experience, and ultimately business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Management, Project Management and Team Management:

• Managing the workflow of the Content team and its projects, as well as leading multiple projects of my own, from brief through to delivery

• Managing multiple projects across various stakeholders, including International Markets & Partnerships, Visual Merchandising, Digital, and Brand Engagement to capture and implement the project requirements, maximising content impact and performance for each target audience, and amplifying the brand and product storytelling, not being afraid to challenge when the brief deviates

• Liaising with the marketing copy writers and editors to ensure copy is channel and audience appropriate

• Website governance through conducting regular reviews across The Collection and the Villages' websites, ensuring that non-conforming content is rectified, and that all websites are adhering to brand guidelines and offering optimal guest journeys and experience

• Assisting with content production through outlining briefs, managing workflow, the collation and distribution of final assets across The Collection, ensuring that the audience and channels have been considered, resulting in consistent and relevant storytelling across all touchpoints

• Project and strategic lead on Gamification projects, which is a new area for The Collection, acting as footfall and loyalty programme acquisition drivers

• Working with the Content Director and Creative Director on the overarching B2C and B2B2C marketing content strategy for The Bicester Collection and cascading this to Central Comms and the 9 European Villages, for worldwide guests, understanding both domestic and international guest journeys and behaviours

• Utilising the AIDA model to develop a Collection-wide content mapping framework, working with Content Managers to ensure content gap analysis completion, resulting in audience-relevant, channel-appropriate content, which upholds brand guidelines and eliminates duplicative content production and spend

• Responsible for sharing best practice content examples with the Collection, in the strive for content excellence Understanding trends, insights and consumer behaviour to allow informed, data-led Content planning Deputising for the Content Director including leading calls and high-level discussions with other Function Heads and Village counterparts, taking briefs and actions from Senior Leaders, problem-solving and decision-making

• Responsible for the management of the marketing (Tier) approval process including acting as a communication bridge between Local and Central colleagues to allow the successful flow of information, liaising with Village Marketing Directors and Central Function Heads to understand their requirements and obtain their submissions, understand and generate actions, progress tracking, liaising with Senior Leaders to obtain commentary and actions, and deputising for the Content Director to lead and facilitate calls

• Responsible for the management of the DAM creative approval process, and ensuring consistency between proposals presented at Tier, and final execution of assets/content

Print Production:

• Responsible for all B2C & B2BC print projects, working with the Art Director, Content Director, Function-

Heads and Village Print Champions to help shape and understand briefs, and fulfil their Creative vision to ensure consistency of Brand and quality, and resulting in the delivery of luxury products worldwide as required

• Accountable for the appointment and management of Print Suppliers and developing and maintaining relationships to ensure that all projects are fulfilled to the highest standard, on budget and on time

• Accountable for the Central Print Production budget

Group Production and Traffic Manager 

March 2019 - October 2020 

Job Overview: Managing the workflow of the Group B2C & B2B2C Communications Content Studio Team, and print production management across The Bicester Collection.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Managing projects from start to finish acting as the bridge between Central and Village Functions and Content Team

• Receiving, reviewing and helping to shape briefs from multiple stakeholders across the business including Destination Marketing, Retail Marketing, PR, Digital and Social, and Editorial

• Managing the workflow of the Content Team comprising of Designers and Brand Managers to ensure deadlines are met, each team member has appropriate work for their skill-set, and that the final artwork is of the highest quality and delivered on time

• Working closely with the Editorial Team and Subs-Desk to ensure corrections are taken in and artwork is approved

• Performing quality checks of designers' work, before returning final assets to the relevant teams

• B2BC & B2B2C Print Management across the Collection, including monthly Print Run collateral and ad-hoc requests

• Supplier management for print, promotional materials and POS, including print tenders,

onboarding new suppliers, and providing requirements for online print portals

• Providing support and approval of printed products produced locally at the Villages

• Chairing project status meetings both within the team and across the business
